Rev. Ted Kang

Ted received his M.Div from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he met his wife, Sandy.  Ted and Sandy joined San Jose Christian Alliance Church as a missionary interns with a desire to serve in Asia.  But God had other plans and directed them in 2014 to pastor the church, where he heads a multicultural pastoral team that ministers in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to a beautifully diverse community. Ted is a proud father of four beautiful daughters: Abigail, Isabel, Rachel and Bethel.

Rev. Hua Trung Tin

Rev. Tin Trung Hua grew up from ‘Truong Minh Giang’ Evangelical Church in Vietnam. He was a graduate of the first academic year of the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School of the Vietnamese District in 2002 with a master’s degree in Christian Ministry. He had been involved with youth and young adult ministries in Vietnam before immigrating to the United States in 2007.  He currently serves as Senior Pastor at Vietnamese Alliance Church of Sacramento. Pastor Tin and his wife have a daughter and reside in Sacramento, California.

Rev. Hung Pham

“MSH” is a graduate of Regent College Unseminary in Vancouver, BC.  He currently serves as Senior Pastor at Grace Alliance Church in Milpitas, but his desire is to spend more time encouraging and equipping young leaders for the next generation of churches and ministries.

Rev. Samuel Hien Ong

Pastor Hien has been serving the Lord since 1967 in Vietnam at various evangelical churches and as an evangelist to the indigenous tribes of Chru and Koho in the Đơn-Dương Tuyên Đức region. After immigrating to the United States in 1975, he has pastored Vietnamese churches in Hawthorne, Los Angeles, San Francisco and currently at Stockton Alliance Church. He completed his Bible and Theology training at Evangelical Divinity School (Thánh Kinh Thần Học Viện) in 1970 in Vietnam and received his Master of Ministry from Simpson University in 2003. Pastor Hien currently serves as the director of the Prayer Fellowship Group for Northern California churches. He and his wife Ruth Truong, vice president of the Vietnamese District Women Ministry, have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren.

Pastor David Huynh

David Huynh has been serving at CCIC North Valley since 2006. At CCIC NV, David ministers to the youth and young adults. Before coming to CCIC NV, David worked at Santa Clara Valley Youth For Christ for 10 years while serving at other churches part-time. David is married to Lia and has one daughter name Elyse. David graduated from San Jose Christian college with an BA in Pastoral Studies with an emphasis in Church Planting. David enjoys a good cup of coffee and playing basketball if defenders don't guard him.

Rev. Kiem Van Le

Kiem Le received his Master of Divinity and Ph.D. at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School . He is the lead pastor of Living Word Community Church (Hội Thánh Ngôi Lời), San Jose. He also serves as the director of Alliance Evangelical Divinity School, Northern California. His passion is preaching the gospel, providing pastoral care, teaching theology, and equipping the gospel-centered community to embody God’s grace in their families and in the community. Kiem has been married to Grace for 22 years and they have three children: Katherine, Aaron, and Andrew. 

PT started out as a church planter after receiving his master’s degree in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary in 2003. He is a 1.5 generation Vietnamese American which is known as cultural broker and bridge builder for future generations. He worked in Silicon Valley as an Electrical Engineer for many years until God called him to Nyack in 2015 to study at Alliance Theological Seminary. He has received his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in the summer of 2018. He currently serves as an English Ministry Pastor at Berryessa Alliance Church in San Jose, California.

Rev. Timothy Nguyen

Sandy Kang was born in Korea and spent most of her childhood in the heart of Los Angeles. Upon completing her studies in Social Welfare at U.C. Berkeley, she pursued a M.A. in Religious Studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. There, she met her life partner Ted, who together have the privilege of raising four beautiful daughters. Raising young children at home, she began to dream and strategize how to make an impact in her children’s generation. This led her to birth Gateway Preschool Academy in the Fall of 2011. Since then, she has been involved in the spiritual formation and development of children and families both at the preschool and at the church.
